New Receptionist/Admin Assistant Jobs at Richmond, Canada

Job Purpose

The receptionist helps to manage the front desk on a daily basis, perform a variety of administrative tasks and support the work of other staff.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Will perform the following routine daily duties:

  • Carrying administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, data entry, scanning, etc.
  • Greet clients with a positive, helpful attitude
  • Maintain safe & clean working area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Book appointments and process insurance/payments
  • Maintaining computer and manual filing systems
  • Provide information to internal colleagues or external enquirers
  • Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Responding to email, telephone or face to face enquiries
  • Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
  • Photocopying and printing out documents on behalf of other colleagues

Key skills required

  • Knowledge of office administration procedures
  • Managing multiple and changing priorities
  • Diary Management
  • Good computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Excellent typing and keyboard skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Friendly and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Managing administrative processes
  • An excellent level of English spelling and grammar
  • High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Previous experience in a Physical Therapy, Chiropractic or multidisciplinary clinic preferred
  • Administrative knowledge and experience using JaneApp Software

  • High level of discretion and judgment
